Several years ago, my sister and I went parasailing. I loved it. She was mostly terrified. Because I am an awesome sister, I did my best to calm her by doing what Maria would do – singing “These are a few of my favorite things!” Apparently thinking of brown paper packages tied up with string did not calm my sister’s nerves, but I like to think that at least distracted her from the fear of heights thing?
Since apparently my singing is not up to par with Julie Andrews, I will write about my favorite things instead.
Inspired (or only in name) by my favorite childhood movie, you can read about a few of my favorite things… little things in life that bring me joy, experiences that make me laugh, smile, or smirk a little, and probably some hilarious quotes from the little people in my life (and I do mean little, as in small children.. not unimportant or just really short friends).
